Parent Partnership Policy

In order to build a strong parent partnership,

We will:

  • Work closely with parents to ensure they feel included and respected

  • Provide opportunites for parents to contribute their skills, knowledge and interests

  • Give feedback to parents at consultations about their child's learning and development

  • Keep parents informed of any new events/staffing arrangements

  • Provide half termly newsletters

  • Provide parents with an understanding of the curriculum

  • Share information on a regular basis concerning their child's progress

  • Listen to parents about any concerns/suggestions they have

  • Inform parents of relevant workshops/training and local children's centre

  • Make available all pre school policies and Ofsted reports

We ask parents to commit to the following:

  • To support the ethos of the pre school and its learning environment

  • To arrive and collect their child on time

  • To pay fees owing on time

  • To contact the pre school if their child is going to be absent

  • To dress their child in suitable clothing

  • To provide a named bag with spare clothing and if applicable nappies and wet wipes

  • To give pre school 6 weeks notice if they wish for their child to leave the pre school
